Beacon of Hope Charity Bowling Tournament
Trinity’s Learning Resource Center, is a 16 year old non-profit 501(c)(3) Youth Mentoring Organization, in partnership with various community businesses and resources in collaboration, and has for the last provided West Valley youth and families training and education (mentoring) in the areas of “Life Skills for Success, Life Planning & Preparation, and Financial Literacy” along with Parent Coaching Workshops: “Guarantee Your Child’s Success,” impacting over 250 youth and their households through life skill enrichment, personal development, responsibility, and accountability; learning the important skills for successful living. These life skills programs and our partners are developing positive, confident youth who will take up the baton in our communities as our next generation of leaders.
Together, as the Beacon of Hope Community Collaboration Partnership: Harvest Time Group, Creative Communications and Publications Intl., Ascend Housing Inc., 4CHANGE, and The L.I.G.H.T. Foundation Mentoring Academy, including other community members and businesses here in the West Valley, are working together to create a legacy in making a difference in the lives of our community youth and their families. The opportunities these programs will grant will provide direction, knowledge and understanding needed to acquire and implement/practice practical life skills, identify and develop successful attitudes, and habits that guarantee success in all their relationships within the family, school, employment, and create strong stable families, communities, and businesses; thus empowering them to succeed in all areas of their lives, as well as through Leadership Development and Entrepreneurial Training and Assistance whereby strengthening the socioeconomic conditions of our communities, reducing juvenile delinquency, sex-trafficking, incarceration, unwanted pregnancies, suicide statistics and community deterioration; providing HOPE for their future, HEALING and RESTORATION!
Through our upcoming “Beacon of Hope” Charity Bowl-a-thon & Tournament Fundraiser, on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:30 p.m., we are raising $10,000 for our 2017 programs, and collectively we are raising funds for The Beacon of Hope Community Center.
